Memorial
Service for Bishop Thakore
Dear Friends,
On behalf of my family I would like to invite you to attend a Memorial Service for my father, the Rt. Rev. Vincent Thakore, Bishop of St James Anglican and Patriarch of the Diocese of the South, Past President of the Anglican Church International Communion (ACIC ), and Endorser for the Anglican Chaplains of the Army, Navy and Air Force of the United States of America.
The service will be held on May 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Flanigan Funeral home in Buford, Georgia. We plan this service to be a positive, uplifting event to remember and celebrate my father's many positive contributions to a better world. We hope you will be able to attend. The Rt. Rev. Adolphus Howard III will lead the service, assisted by notable guests including keynote speaker, Dr. Bhagirath Majmudar, M.D. of Emory University's School of Medicine. Honorary Guest Speakers will include Norma Charles, an extraordinary and well known missionary with the Georgia Baptist Convention since 1982, and Dr. Shan Yohan; eminent professor, long-time leader and past national chairperson for the Georgia United Methodist Church. Music will be provided by the Rt. Rev. Adolphus Howard III (piano), Senior Pastor Farhat (choir) and Dale Strickland (guitar). We plan to record the event for those whose distance or condition make it not possible to attend. Videography and editing will be directed by Ranjit Tripathi. Flanagan
